Yes, you guessed it we went camping with a 5 year old and a 5 month old.... the little camping ad says it so well , " reconnect with the basics of life." Well, yeah, if you are actually camping ....we set up a tent at the closest KOA we could find, went swimming, enjoyed the complimentary hot showers, flushing toilets, playground and horseshoes. Ayden particular enjoyed the spa. Yup, we were roughing it.... Even got ice cream at the on site store. But it wasn't all fun and games; we were kept up all night by roaring tigers and lions ( wow! they are loud!) but it definitely added to the fun to just think we were listening to Michael Jackson's tigers morn. ( We camped a few miles away from Shambala which is way we got to enjoy the roaring big cats instead of hightailing to the car to prevent Makenna from becoming a Big Mak .)

Lions and Tigers but No Bears
